Only it’s not really, is it?

We’ll all keep in touch. But calling and texting and Skyping are just not the same as going to breakfast together, rooming together, playing tag at three AM both inside, outside, and in bathrooms–so long as we kept to the third floor and didn’t REALLY go outside, because it really was scary, you’re right, Micah.

I feel like I’m being dragged away from pieces of my soul. All of you–I don’t know how to say it, really. I feel like–all of you are just so–you’re those fantastic, artsy, brilliant people I always hoped existed but never really knew. I–I can’t generalise you. I have to make a list. Alphabetical order, by the bye.

Adam Pennavaria – You’ve great taste in music and you’re really a fantastic friend, not to mention person. Thank you for intelligent conversations and many laughs.

Charley Nold – You’re such a wonderful person. Thank you for that yoga pep talk and great times in general. You’re a really caring person and that is just so great, I can’t even tell you.

Darian Jackson – You’ve such a strong personality. I admire your strength. Not many people can do what you do every day. Keep it up.

Erica Reeves – You are an amazing person. You’re not afraid to say what you think and that’s fantastic. You kept us all grounded. 

Franey Miller – Your passion inspires me to keep on with what I love. Keep going with your dream and it’ll happen.

Jezreel Amica – You are such a bubbly person! You’ve made the community room nights so fun.

John Stepp – I’m so glad you came out of your shell. You’re amazing. Really.

Kelsey Randhawa – You’ll go far. And I think you’re a fantastic person. Stay who you are.

Micah McClain – You’re fabulous, la boy. I really admire the fact that you’re not afraid to be who you are. You’re a strong person too. Keep it up, okay?

Simone Palmieri – Roommate! You’re a fun girl. You’re such a hard worker, too, and that’ll get you far.

Victoria Ballengee – You’re such a strong person and you’re really cool. I can’t wait to see where you go in life.

Needless to say, all of you have inspired me so much. I love you all, I love you love you love you, and I don’t know what I’ll do without you–or at least seeing you every day.
