On Saturday, June 4, 2016 I never would have thought that the 11 individuals I met during Xposure would be so great.
Naturally I am very shy and it takes me a while to get to know people. It takes me at least a good 2 to 3 months to get comfortable enough with a person, so needless to say I was nervous about how I would make friends.
I could not have imagined that these people I met a number of days ago I would be proud to call my friends. I never could have imagined Xposure in my wildest dreams. The places we have gone and the people we have met are unbelievable.
I have been exposed in a way I never thought was possible. Usually, I stay to myself and I do not ask a lot of questions. I accept what I am told and I go on with my life. Xposure has taught me that if the answer to my question is unacceptable I have the right to ask follow up questions.
Xposure has taught me that I have the right to seek and know the truth. Xposure is an experience I am glad that I was invited into and one that I will remember for the rest of my life.
On June 4 I might not have known the 11 individuals I would be attending the workshop with, but all I know is that I am glad I know them today.
